Clare Murphy

Born in Howth, Co. Dublin, now living in Galway City Clare Muireann Murphy is an Irish storyteller with an international reputation.  Her repertoire is full of tales from around Ireland and beyond, and Clare delights in thrilling and enchanting her audiences with her dynamic physical style.

Clare has played stages all over the world from Kilkenny Arts Festival to the Globe Theatre in London, from Vienna Lit to Singapore. She has toured the UK with Storytelling Café, and has toured Colorado on an independent tour. With her love of Irish folklore and mythology, Clare will fill this evening of tales with stories of Macha, of Cuchulann, stories of Selkies and of the Tuatha de Danaan, of faery folk and more. Come along and experience an ancient world come alive.
